What an adorable picture. I know it's sort of silly, but I will be so disappointed if my kids aren't readers. For now, they are but I really don't want them to lose it. It's important to me, but I'm a high school English teacher, so ya know.
My son (16 mo) only wants to 'read' for like two minutes and then put the book back in the bookcase himself! You don't wanna know what happens if someone dares to help him...
You can take the child out of the bookshop, but you can't take the books out of the child! I love this picture.
ReplyDeleteOh... I do hp[e Jarvis likes to read. How did you encourage your love of books onto Henry?

I have to echo all the comments about hoping my future kids are readers. And sushi-eaters. Other than that, they can follow their bliss :)
